STATEMENT

When I made the decision to become a professional artist my goal was to create art that would touch the soul and evoke powerful emotion from the viewer. Whatever the medium, the style or the subject matter of a work of art, in the end, intense emotion is always my desired affect and true creation.
I have been doing artwork all my life, always drawing, painting and constantly experimenting in every possible medium. Fascinated by the human body and form I majored in pre-medicine but minored in art, now combining both as a figurative sculptor in primarily wood. I've been making a living as an artist since I started working in wood in 1986. Most of my sculpture has been sold directly to the public through art shows from the southwest to the pacific northwest states.
